SNCF ORDERS SMALL ALL-ROUNDER

18.03.2016

The French railway company SNCF has ordered a multi-talent. With the Multi Tasker 100, they have decided on a proven machine that has already been delivered 12 times to neighbouring Switzerland. In France, the all-rounder crane will be used in the Paris Saint-Lazare train station. Saint-Lazare is an Ile-de-France regional traffic hub and is the second largest train station in the French capital with approx. 274,000 passengers per day. The SNCF will use the Multi Tasker 100 for rebuilding switch tracks as well as other maintenance work in the station area. The small railway crane is independent and practical: it always gets on-site fast, travelling on its own to each destination on the network. It can travel with a load and pull two cars. Its powerful boom bends a little under load so that work can be performed with maximum lifting capacity below the overhead line. The Multi Tasker 100 will be delivered to SNCF during 2017.
