The focus is on the operation and maintenance of the railway rescue crane which includes setting the crane up and down and working under real conditions that means the lifting of a locomotive or a wagon. Furthermore, the participants gain profound technical knowledge on the operating modes and lifting capacities as well as on the innovations in relation to the previous crane model. The new crane had been commissioned to Deutsche Bahn on 16th May 2014 in Leipzig.
